L.A. Coliseum and Insomniac the production company of such festivals as ELECTRIC DAISY CARNIVAL, NOCTURNAL WONDERLAND, AUDIOTISTIC sued by parents of dead teenager from last years Electric Daisy Carnival 2010.
Sasha Rodriguez took to much E, after entering the venue last year. The lawsuit says, "overcrowding and understaffed conditions delayed the response of the on-site security and emergency medical services providers by approximately 20 minutes." The suit also describes the security and medical workers as "inadequately trained."
No one should ever die from going to a party. I was at last years festival and as much as I loved it, I do feel that Insomniac and the Coliseum should be held responsible if that is what the courts decide. They should have had more medical tents, better security, and bring back Dancesafe testing tents, sell cheaper waters. If it weren't for party-goers spending the money on the expensive tickets then there wouldn't be a show in the first place, so let's take care of our kids. #JustSayin.
